Founder of Mary's Meals wins top award for his "extraordinary" work for charity


Hollywood actor, Gerard Butler presented fellow Scot, Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow with an award for his "extraordinary" work feeding hungry children around the world.

The former salmon farmer from Argyll set up Mary's Meals in 1992 with the help of his brother Fergus. The charity feeds over 400,000 children in 16 countries all over the world.

Mister Singh's India is proud to have an association with Mary's Meals and a recent Charity Race night at the restaurant generated much needed financial support for the charity.
