Mister Singh's wins Environmental Business Award from Glasgow City Council

Since Joining the climate change business group in 2007, Mister Singh's India has been committed to reducing our carbon footprint. In 2008 Mister Singh's India took part in a case study along with Jonathan Fallis from Envirowise, Derek McNabb from Mabbett Associates and Davina Wyper from Serco.

This resulted in strategies being implemented such as best practice through energy reduction, and the efficient use of energy efficient equipment. The restaurant had timing switches fitted to reduce energy consumption. The soft drinks refrigerators are set on a timer to switch off overnight, this reduces energy and has no detriment to the products. We also reduce waste and re-use and recycle.

As a result of all of these implementations, Mister Singh's India won the Silver Award and we are working towards a Gold Award.
